After the last 3 track days I have noticed the car getting worse and worse to drive, The steering getting more and more vauge and unresponsive. On top of this some extra clunks and rattles that have surfaced so ive decided its time to pull it all apart and go over everything!
Yesterday Mallala Motorsport Park hosted the annual Drift Supercup and once again it showcased some brilliant driving from around Australia with many interstaters taking advantage of the travel incentives on offer. For once the weather played ball with only a slight hint of rain at one point in the day.
The open practice session in the morning ran really well and I had some fun runs with mates and the car seemed to be performing well.. I did notice some vagueness in the steering at this point but more on that later.
After my successful Drift Techniques school at Tailem bend all i had to do was get a wheel alignment so i went and saw Mark Povey from SA Motorsport Tyres down at Norwood Auto Service... Mark and the boys looked after my rig and got it all spot on again for me.
And thats pretty much it... car has been on the trailer and ready to go! See you all tomorrow!
